Terms of Service

MintCal is a booking and scheduling platform. You use it to let people book meetings with you. You're responsible for your account, your content, and how you use it. We're responsible for keeping the service running and your data safe. Don't use it for anything illegal or harmful.

Your account

  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account
  • You're responsible for keeping your password secure
  • You're responsible for all activity under your account
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use MintCal
  • One person per account — no shared accounts

What you can do

  • Create booking pages, event types, and polls
  • Collect payments through connected payment providers
  • Customize your booking page with your brand
  • Embed your booking calendar on your own website
  • Export your data at any time
  • Cancel your account at any time

What you cannot do

  • Use MintCal for illegal activities
  • Send spam or unsolicited messages through the platform
  • Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service
  • Impersonate others or create misleading booking pages
  • Resell or redistribute MintCal as your own product
  • Use the service to collect data for purposes other than scheduling

Payments

  • MintCal charges 0% commission on bookings processed through your payment providers
  • Subscription fees are billed monthly
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time — access continues until the end of the billing period
  • Payment provider fees (Stripe, PayFast, etc.) are separate and charged by those providers

Your content

You own everything you create on MintCal — your booking pages, event types, branding, and content. We don't claim ownership of your content. We need a license to display it (when someone visits your booking page), but that license ends when you delete the content.

Service availability

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee 100% uptime. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects service. We'll try to notify you in advance for planned maintenance.

Limitation of liability

MintCal is provided "as is". We're not liable for missed bookings, payment processing errors by third-party providers, or any indirect damages from using the service. Our total liability is limited to the fees you've paid in the last 12 months.

Account termination

  • You can delete your account at any time from Settings
  • We may terminate accounts that violate these terms
  • On termination, your data is permanently deleted within 30 days

Changes to terms

We may update these terms. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
